Country Club
The Club has 70+-year history, and membership is available for residents and non-residents of Tchefuncta Club Estates. With 500+ members, membership categories include Full, Intermediate, Individual, Junior, Lifestyle, and Out-of-Town members with golf, tennis, swimming, fitness, social activities, and dining all offered within the gates of the neighborhood. With a beautiful clubhouse and facilities nestled in an amazing natural setting, it is also the perfect venue for wedding receptions, corporate parties, and special events.
In 2021, Tchefuncta Club Estates purchased Tchefuncta Country Club. Led by a Board of Governors and an outstanding management team with oversight from the Tchefuncta Club Estates Board of Directors, the private Club focuses on an exceptional member and guest experience, reinvesting its profits into the long-term sustainability and vision of Tchefuncta.

Dining in Tchefuncta
In the Graham Dining Room, members and their guests enjoy an amazing dining experience. The elegant and spacious dining room overlooks the golf course, and opens onto a large, covered dining porch which is especially picturesque at sunset. Whether enjoying lunch, dinner, or Sunday brunch, chefs frequently introduce new menu items and ensure just the right mix of surf and turf, sides, salads, and desserts. From weekly steak night and family night to monthly Bingo nights, members and their guests enjoy a festive experience and delicious cuisine. Food services are also available poolside and from the Grill.
Discon Lounge
The Discon Lounge welcomes members and guests 18 years of age and older, creating an elegant yet casual space to share with friends and family. With widescreen televisions, game days are especially lively as members cheer on their favorite sports teams. The Discon Lounge offers ample seating at round tables as well as the bar itself, and the bartenders are experienced and well trained and have created many signature cocktails throughout the years. Food service from the dining room or grill extend to the Discon Lounge, from full menu items to appetizers.
Fitness Center
Located on the first floor of the Club, the Fitness Center offers the latest in strength training equipment, cardio machines, free weights, and fitness gear. Nearby are men’s and women’s locker rooms with full showers and comfortable changing areas. Certified personal trainers are available by appointment for group or individual training sessions.
Golf
The 18-hole, par 71 golf course begins and ends at the Clubhouse and journeys through the Estates and its beautiful residential setting. The course provides challenges for even the most experienced golfers. With practice holes, a putting green, teaching facility, and driving range, golfers have an ideal opportunity to relax and perfect their skills.
The knowledgeable and attentive golf pros and customer service staff help ensure a great golfing experience. The highly experienced and well-trained grounds crew keep the course well maintained and ready for play. The Golf Shop stocks clubs, specialty items, balls, and apparel, and can custom order for each player’s precise needs.

Tennis
Tennis and Pickleball
From novice to “A” ranked tennis players, Tchefuncta Country Club has an impressive tennis program, and just recently introduced Pickleball for its members. The Club hosts many tournaments each year with the Shamrock Mixed Doubles being its signature event.
Facilities
Tchefuncta has six tennis courts, all of which have the Nova Cushion technology surface. All of the courts are well lit for evening play.

Swimming
The swimming pool is a hallmark of Tchefuncta. This six-foot, 25-yard, 180,000-gallon pool has a 12-foot diving section as well as swim lanes. Professional Red Cross certified lifeguards are on staff during summer operating hours. The pool is heated during the winter months and cooled during the summer months with a special aeration feature.
Pool House
With a men’s and women’s locker rooms, restroom facilities, and a lounge area, the Pool House offers many amenities. There is also a grill, making it convenient to dine poolside. Complementing the facility is a large pool deck with shade features, ample tables and chairs, and lounging areas as well as a grassy area lined with mature oaks.
Adult Swimming
Many adults utilize the swim lanes year-round as part of their fitness routines, and two days a week from 5:30 to 6:15 am an aquatics coach is on deck to help coach entry level to triathletes.
Youth Swimming
Swimming lessons are available for all ages, and the Club is home to the Thunderbirds aka “T-Birds” who compete against other area clubs. Tchefuncta hosts multiple meets each season. There a zero-entry kiddie pool and water feature for the youngest members to enjoy.
